1 Comment It has been two months since Hazel was born so I took some pictures to celebrate. Love our little girl! My older sister Claire made the quilt Hazel is laying on.

Post a Comment My wonderful niece sent us the cutest thing last week, a "Flat Stanley", but in the image of her instead of Stanley, hence the Flat Ellie. So, this past Saturday we took a little trip around Denver. Check out the pics!

Post a Comment So, some things are gearing up around here. Literally. Cate is in the market for new gear, mainly a new camera and perhaps a lens (and a light, and a bag, and a...). Despite being told by various professors at school that you buy one camera and have it for life, it's time for an upgrade. It's critical to have a back-up camera anyway. When photography says it is making a radical change like that of film to digital, you better listen. This weekend we go out into the foray that is Denver and scour the landscape looking for cool venues for future shoots and will hit up some camera stores too to see what's on the market in person instead of online. It should be for an exciting and tiring time.
As for the website, I'm still playing with features of squarespace and trying to understand it's generalities and intricacies. It may take a little while. Also, up to this point, some information posted, particularly pricing, may change at any time. Check back for updates.

Post a Comment After graduating college with a BFA in photography, I worked with many commercial photographers as an their assitant. At the same time, I had my own business that focused on children's portraiture. In the fall of 2007, I fulfilled a long-time dream and moved here to Colorado. Shortly after moving, I met and married my best friend, Matt. During all of that change, I became the nanny for two wonderful families in the Denver. The family I have been with for two and a half years has been amazing. Now that the youngest will be off to kindergarten in the fall, I am diving back into photography full time and look forward to meeting some great people in this great city! Here are some of the most recent pictures I've taken of the kids I nanny for; Will (10), Henry (8), and Sarah (5).

Post a Comment Since moving to Colorado after living and working in the Dallas area in Texas, I have been working on finding clients and building a base again. Now it is time to build a place where my new clients can go to request a shoot, check on updates, purchase prints, and peruse my past work. Welcome!
